11th NOVEMBERMallee Dawn Bird-watching Walk Dawn is a wonderful time of the day to enjoy the mallee and its wildlife. Join Monarto Zoological Park guides for a walk through the Park where over 100 bird species have been recorded, from wrens to emu. There is a diverse flora present, which has resulted in different bird habitats for foraging and nesting. The Park also has most communities of plants and animals to be found in the Murraylands,we are sure to see kangaroos and other mallee fauna, possibly including the elusive echidna as we wander through the limestone studded bush.
